I really loved what you said about fans not being able to put into words how they felt when they met you in person, but you could tell what they wanted to say by looking in their eyes. Gavin, I love your music and your low key attitude toward fame. You have brought some joy and comfort during a trying period in my life. I know you have commented publicly on the gratitude you have for your fans. I recently saw a couple of videos of you on YouTube in which you and your family are being followed around. The one at the zoo was a particularly disturbing invasion of your family time. I just wanted you to know that I think you are great and I am sorry that some fans and publicity seekers choose to take advantage of your kindness to earn themselves a few seconds of internet fame. I for one will screen more carefully before playing those videos and encouraging their lack of boundaries with you and your family. Thanks so much for your music. I hope you will hit the Baltimore/DC area soon!

So, I saw you and your band play at the Whiskey Roadhouse, not to mention that it was amazing (the actual show and I am sure the food was alright- cause it is the midwest and steak is what they serve). I am usually a hardcore industrial listener, but I went to your show because Bush was one of my favorites growing up. Your performance was great, I was very impressed on the high enery of it. When the first band was playing you moved so great back in the booth. It is nice to see someone who really loves what they do and I would hope the low key uncocky rockstar vibe you give is really who you are. I love your hair long and remember not all of us in IA and NE listen to country music. Maybe some more grunge is in your future?

Hi Gavin I wanted to tell you I was at your house of blues concert in orlando and it was amazing, you have amazing talent and a killer voice that gave me and my friends chills, I was sure you waved at me to haha, well i cant wait to see your show again I was a huge bush fan, but i have to say i am loving the solo album, keep up the hard work im sure being away from your damily is hard, by the way im a huge qwen fan to, and i have to say you guys have the cutest sons!!!
Jannus Landing Visit
Hi Gavin, I just wanted to say hello and let you know that your music is so appreciated! I am so happy that you have brought us more with Wanderlust and I hope to be hearing new records from you for many years to come. Your music has touched me on many levels and on occasion has brought clarity and insight where there was none. I'll just say thanks and leave it at that. I will be seeing you soon at Jannus Landing in St. Pete Florida!! You would not believe how excited I am:) I'm praying I get a chance to meet you. I read somewhere that you are taking Kingston on tour with you. I know your schedule is intense but I thought I would recommend a great place for kids in case you find the time. I have the inside track on all of the really fantastic places because I have a very inspired little boy that loves to check out everything and go everywhere! His name is Jonah and he is six years old. He loves a place called "Great Exploration Children's Museum", and it's just a few minutes away from Jannus Landing. The address is 1925 Fourth Street North. The place is brilliant, my son absolutely adored it. We went when he was four and I stayed with him there for hours and hours. It's great because everything is interactive so the kids get to touch and feel and climb etc...If you're interested just go to their website and you'll see what I mean. Their phone# is 727-821-8992. We also have a great Zoo in the area called the Lowry Park Zoo and of course lots of great beaches. I hope you're having lots of fun on tour and I'll see you soon! I will NEVER forget the night that I finally met you in person. I have been a Bush fan since 94. I didn't get to see you guys live until after 2000, and got to see you 3 times total. I had a lot of catching up to do... I met you at the show in Sunrise, FL on the last tour. Bush's show was the last rock show there. I believe the venue is a church now. I remember that you were surrounded by a giant crowd of your fans out by the buses, and I stood there patiently waiting. Once I got close enough I began talking at you as you signed for other people, waiting for my turn. To be honest I don't even remember what I said, I was just so excited and the words were just spilling from my mouth. I know you heard me cause you were nodding your head and what not... Then when you handed me back my CD cover, you took my hand, looked at me, and said "thank you." and in that moment, you rendered me speechless. There were so many more words that I wanted to say to you. What an inspiration your music has been to me, how amazing I think that you are. But I couldn't say anything. I just stood there and stared. When I got home that night, I read a blog that you wrote on the Bush website... about how you know that sometimes the words will not come when your fans come face to face with you. and how you can completely see everything they want to express to you by looking in their eyes. I really hope that my eyes conveyed to you how much you mean to me that night. Enough sap, I CANNOT WAIT TO SEE YOU AGAIN IN NEW YORK NEXT MONTH!!!!! I'M SO EXCITED. AND I LOVE THE NEW ALBUM, IT'S WONDERFUL THAT YOU GAVE ME NEW MUSIC TO LISTEN TO. I love you Gavin, I have for more than half of my life now. :D ~Stephanie

I bought your album this past weekend, and I have to admit I really love the music. I even dreamt of you last night and have listened to your songs all morning. I love your wife Gwen Stefani and her music as well. I think you have a great family and you are both genuine and good people. May God Bless you and your family this holiday and forever. I have a 9 month old baby girl and she is my first angel. I love her so much, and when I see Gwen and you with the baby like on TMZ the other night when you were stating Santa is coming, I was so impressed. You both have beautiful babies. So.. I was having a test photo shoot out on the venice boardwalk today and I saw someone that looked exactly like you walking their dog, maybe it was you. Regardless, seeing whoever it was struck a tone and I decided to check out if you had any new music. I've always been an avid Bush listener but hadn't heard you completed a solo album. I listened to Wanderlust for the first time and it was great, my favorite is This is Happiness .. probably because it reminds me of a grungier bush style? The Trouble I'm in however is amazingly beautiful. Two thumbs raised in the air.
