Bush tour in '09

I heard yesterday on the radio that there is a rumor floating around a Bush reunion tour in '09.  It was on the local alt rock station, 106.7 here in Columbus.  Did anyone else hear about this??

Why?

Gavin didn't go gold with Institute or solo, why would reuniting with Bush do any good?  Anyway, it wasn't the band that we loved, it was Gavin himself.  I don't need all that other stuff, just him alone singing even.  You know what I mean?  Anyway Nigel is apparently adament about not doing this, so Gavin keep on without them.  You wrote the music anyway.

Gavin + Bush = Magic

The music you first fell in love with was the result of Bush, the entire band.  Yes Gavin is awesome, but don't forget that it started as a collaborative effort, and it was amazing.  Have you ever even had a chance to see Bush, the entire band, in concert?  There's nothing like it.  I heart Gavin with the best of em, but I would take a Bush tour over a solo tour any day, there's nothing like a full band rocking out.  I like Wanderlust but this solo business isn't working on the stage - all these non-fans attending the shows that Gavin gets to perform at  (basically not his own shows) show no respect....Bush Reunion 09 would be amazing, but I doubt it's anything more than just a rumor.

Well, I have seen Bush in concert, I have been a fan of Gavin's since '94 and he wrote the music and the lyrics.  In his solo effort, he does have a band behind him, so to me there's no difference because my eyes are only on him anyway and my ears.  And I seen institute too in concert and was up front and Gavin and I held hands before I got pushed.  So, all I care about is that Gavin still keeps singing with our without, because he's the brains of the operation.  Like with Disturbed, I like Dave, and I look and listen at him, as long as the music's in the background, what matters is the singer, the writer, the genius and that is Gavin in Bush.  But you know, no reason to get all uptight cos I prefer all Gavin all the time.

more power to Gavin

You know, I hope Gavin stays a musician forever.  His words have meaning and reality, so to get back with Bush would be wonderful, but I don't know what it'll take to get Nigel back in.  He's the one who is saying no to the reunion.  This Wanderlust album was supposed to be a Bush reunion album that Gavin did mostly by himself and Gavin is performing it without them and it's kicking ass.

It's been a while too, why isn't Gavin's next song on radio and TV?  This is how they killed Institute.

I thought that when Bush broke up that I'd never see Gavin up there again, but hoped he would go solo, so it continues and then he did.  So I think after this solo, what will he do next?  I hope for more albums from him and yeah a reunion is cool, I'm not against my favorite person and musician and never said I was.

And why am I defending myself, what is it that I said that warrants you to have a toilet mouth.  To me what's the difference if he's with Bush or solo, he's performing still, that's what matters.  That's who I'm a fan of.  There was no bullshit in my remark.  We want Gavin to continue being a musician right, take it any way we can.

K I check this forum out every now and then but this one made me login finally.
"Tina" it WAS "the band that we loved,". You can have your love for Gavin but those four records that came out between 94 and 99 THAT WAS BUSH! And it was BUSH that sold those records and tickets. Do you honestly think Wonderlust would sounds anything like it does if Nigel gave the nod to this being a BUSH record?

I love Bush

My favorite band has been Bush since '94 then they broke up, I was devasted thought I'd never hear Gavin sing again.  Whatever it takes for him to keep singing is where I was going with this.  I have been a fan of this band longer than any other band in my life time.  I'm upset that people would take my meaning out of contrast and think I'm a Bush hater.

Bush Tour in '09

That would be awesome if Bush had a reunion tour, I love Bush in concert... sooo good, Gavin all sweaty, nothing better. Ladies and gentlemen agree? yummmm

i don't think we'll ever see another bush tour. i recently read somewhere (can't remember where) that gavin said he would love to play with bush again but one of the guys (he didn't say who) didn't want to tour anymore.

but maybe i'm wrong. it would be amazing. i'd love to see them again. :)

Reunion

I've seen Bush live. It's a total different feel than Gavin solo. I love both options and would see either/or/ and all ! ha. Bush is more of a different feel to the music. Both are good, both I love. I look forward to a reunion!

yesterday i was listening to hollywood hamilton's weekend top 30 countdown on the radio and before they play LRTS he said something like "i just got news from gwen stefani's camp that bush will be making a new record in '09 and possibly touring with No Doubt (if some of you don't know ND is hitting the road in '09, which is majorly exciting)."

anyways, i think it's total b.s., but i just thought i'd post what i heard. there's gotta be a bit of truth behind every rumor, right...?

maybe gavin will play some songs on the road with ND or something, u never know...

I have never seen bush live, be an awesome experience to see gavin all sweaty and sexy, love their early stuff sixteen stone was the best.
Iwonder if their is any plans for taken the tour down under, of the rumours are true of course?
